Europe 2009: Day 1, part 2

Yesterday we took one of those bus tours around the city. The city is full of eye candy, both historical and wearing a cute pair of  jeans. I averaged about 100 pictures per hour.

Day 1, PM
After a little nap, we walked from our hotel  (15 minutes) to the Spanish Steps.  By that time it was dark and you can see how some parts of the city are more gorgeous at night.

Day 1, Dinner

Many people told us that the little “hole in the wall places” had the best food.  So we wandered around the city and ended up eating at t some place in a dark, side alley. The food was AMAZING. That pesto sauce was  unreal, and the alfredo, red and meat sauces were simply yummy. The ingredients tasted so much fresher and the food gave you the impression that there was a little Italian grandma in the back . Pasta will never be the same again

Day 1, Evening
On our way home, we run into a bunch of men standing on the street. They were Bianca and Lucacelebrating John Carlo s 36th birthday. We spoke to the group and the next thing we knew they reopened the bar (which was the coffee shop earlier) and we had shots with them and took tons of pictures. Because my camera was broken, I only have these shots but post more once my fellow travellers send me theirs
Bianca and Luca, or hot chocolate as we started to call him. We often went to his cafe for dark hot chocolate with fresh whipped cream after exploring the street after the temperature started to drop
