Europe 2009, Day 4 Pantheon

Again, our hotel location proved to be great and we ventured out on on 15 minute walk to the Pantheon. The city was again as full of energy as ever. There were three races going on that day, including the Rome Marathon. On our walk, we took a wrong turn and wander upon this man playing the theme to the Godfather on his accordion. It was like a moment out of a guidebook.

We arrived at the Pantheon just as mass was letting out. And we also angered some parishioners by discussing the myth of rain in the Pantheon too loudly (NO LAUGHING IN CHURCH!!!)

After we let the Pantheon, we found this great leather shop in a back alley where we all bought ourselves a “souvenir”, well that’s what we told ourselves, LOL.
